"He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful." - John 15:2 (NIV)


*Reflection:*

Jesus doesn’t just want fruit from us—He wants _more_ fruit. That’s why He prunes. Pruning feels like loss, but it’s actually love. God removes distractions, dead habits, and even good things that compete with best things, so the branch can carry greater weight. More fruit comes through less clutter. The secret isn’t striving harder; it’s staying closer. The branch that abides deepest bears most.


*Prayer:*

Lord, I trust Your pruning. Cut away what limits me so I can bear more fruit for Your kingdom. Amen.


*Application:*

- Surrender one area for pruning

- Stay connected to the Vine through prayer + Word

- Look for one person to pour into
