*Don’t Live by Bread Alone*


*Scripture:*

"Jesus answered, 'It is written: Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'" - Matthew 4:4 (NIV)


*Reflection:*

Physical bread sustains the body, but only God’s Word sustains the soul. Jesus spoke these words in the wilderness, showing us that true life comes from dependence on the Father. We can chase careers, comfort, and provision—yet still feel empty. Our deepest hunger is for truth, purpose, and communion with God. His Word feeds us with what the world can’t give.


*Prayer:*

Lord, teach me to crave Your Word more than anything else. Nourish me with Your truth today. Amen.


*Application:*

- Feed on Scripture daily

- Trust God’s provision

- Prioritize spiritual hunger
