How to Operate with Patience in our daily life

*Devotional: Running with Patience*

*Scripture:* Hebrews 12:1-3 (NIV)

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."

*Reflection:*

As believers, we are called to run the race of faith with patience and perseverance. The Christian life is not a sprint, but a marathon that requires endurance and stamina.

*Running with Patience:*

1. *Fixing our eyes on Jesus*: We must keep our focus on Jesus, who is the author and perfecter of our faith. He is our example, our inspiration, and our strength.

2. *Throwing off hindrances*: We must identify and eliminate anything that hinders our progress in the faith. This includes sin, distractions, and worldly entanglements.

3. *Running with perseverance*: We must be willing to endure hardships, challenges, and setbacks. We must persevere through difficulties, knowing that God is our helper and our sustainer.

*The Reward of Running with Patience:*

1. *Joy and fulfillment*: When we run the race of faith with patience and perseverance, we experience joy and fulfillment. We know that we are living for a higher purpose and that our efforts are not in vain.

2. *Spiritual growth and maturity*: Running with patience helps us to grow and mature in our faith. We develop spiritual stamina, and our roots grow deeper in Christ.

3. *Eternal reward*: Ultimately, our reward is eternal. We will receive the crown of life, and we will reign with Christ forever.

*Prayer:*

Dear Heavenly Father,

Help me to run the race of faith with patience and perseverance. Give me the strength and endurance I need to overcome obstacles and challenges. Fix my eyes on Jesus, and help me to stay focused on Him. I pray that I will experience joy and fulfillment as I run the race, and that I will receive the eternal reward that You have promised.

In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

*Action Step:*

Take a few moments to reflect on your spiritual journey. Identify areas where you need to throw off hindrances and run with perseverance. Ask God to give you the strength and endurance you need to overcome challenges and stay focused on Him.
