Finding Joy in the Journey

*Scripture:*

"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds." - James 1:2 (NIV)

*Devotional:*

Joy is a choice. It's a mindset. It's a decision to trust God, no matter what circumstances we face.

In James 1:2, we're encouraged to consider it pure joy when we face trials. This doesn't mean we have to be happy about our problems, but we can find joy in the journey, knowing that God is with us and working everything out for our good.

So, where do we find this joy? We find it in:

1. *God's Presence*: Knowing that God is always with us, no matter what.

2. *God's Promises*: Trusting in God's promises to never leave us or forsake us.

3. *God's Power*: Believing that God is able to work all things out for our good.

- What trials are you facing today?

- How can you choose joy in the midst of those trials?

- What promises of God can you stand on to find joy and peace?

*Prayer:*

Dear Heavenly Father, help us to choose joy today, no matter what we're facing. Remind us of Your presence, promises, and power. Give us the strength to trust You and find joy in the journey. In Jesus' name, Amen.
