*Walking in Power*
*Scripture:* Acts 1:8, "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."
*Devotional:*
As believers, we are called to walk in power. Not just any power, but the power of the Holy Spirit. This power is not just for a select few, but for every believer who has accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
In Acts 1:8, Jesus promises His disciples that they will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon them. This power is not just for their benefit, but for the benefit of others. They are to be witnesses of Jesus Christ to the world around them.
As we walk in power, we are able to accomplish things that we never thought possible. We are able to share the Gospel with boldness, to pray with confidence, and to live a life that is pleasing to God.
But walking in power is not just about what we can do, it's also about who we are. It's about being a vessel for the Holy Spirit to work through. It's about being a reflection of Jesus Christ to the world around us.
So, how can we walk in power? Here are a few keys:
1. *Be filled with the Holy Spirit*: In order to walk in power, we must be filled with the Holy Spirit. This means surrendering our lives to Him and asking Him to fill us with His presence and power.
2. *Spend time in God's Word*: God's Word is the source of our power. As we spend time reading and meditating on Scripture, we are strengthened and empowered to live a life that is pleasing to God.
3. *Pray with confidence*: Prayer is a key part of walking in power. As we pray, we are able to tap into the power of the Holy Spirit and see miracles happen in our lives and the lives of those around us.
4. *Step out in faith*: Walking in power requires us to step out in faith. This means taking risks and trusting God to work through us.
*Prayer:*
Dear Heavenly Father, I want to walk in power. I want to be a vessel for the Holy Spirit to work through. Fill me with Your presence and power. Give me the confidence to share the Gospel with boldness and to live a life that is pleasing to You. I pray in Jesus' name, Amen.

2. How can you be filled with the Holy Spirit?
3. What are some ways you can spend time in God's Word?
