Practical steps to make you a dedicated Christian

*Devotional: Dedicated to the Kingdom*

*Scripture:* Matthew 6:33 (NIV)

"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

*Reflection:*

As followers of Christ, we are called to be dedicated to the Kingdom of God. But what does this mean, and how can we live out this dedication in our daily lives?

*Understanding Kingdom Dedication:*

1. *Prioritizing God's Kingdom*: Seeking God's Kingdom above all else means prioritizing His will, purposes, and values in our lives.

2. *Aligning with God's purposes*: When we dedicate ourselves to the Kingdom, we align ourselves with God's purposes, which are often contrary to the world's values.

3. *Living for eternity*: Our dedication to the Kingdom reminds us that our lives are not just about the here and now, but about eternity.

*Practical Steps to Kingdom Dedication:*

1. *Start your day with God*: Begin each day by seeking God's presence, reading His Word, and praying for His guidance.

2. *Evaluate your priorities*: Regularly assess your priorities to ensure they align with God's Kingdom values.

3. *Use your gifts and talents for the Kingdom*: Discover your spiritual gifts and talents, and use them to serve others and advance God's Kingdom.

4. *Be willing to sacrifice*: Kingdom dedication may require sacrifice, such as giving up worldly pursuits or comforts for the sake of the Gospel.

*Benefits of Kingdom Dedication:*

1. *Peace and joy*: When we prioritize God's Kingdom, we experience peace and joy that surpasses understanding.

2. *Purpose and direction*: Kingdom dedication gives us a sense of purpose and direction, helping us navigate life's challenges.

3. *Eternal rewards*: Our dedication to the Kingdom will be rewarded in eternity, where we will reign with Christ forever.

*Prayer:*

Dear Heavenly Father,

I dedicate myself to Your Kingdom, seeking to prioritize Your will, purposes, and values in my life. Help me to align myself with Your purposes, to live for eternity, and to use my gifts and talents for Your glory.

In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

*Action Step:*

Take a few moments to reflect on your priorities and how they align with God's Kingdom values. Ask God to reveal areas where you need to adjust your priorities and to give you the strength to make necessary changes.
