Reflecting the Consecrated light

*Devotional: Reflecting the Consecrated Light*

*Scripture:* Matthew 5:14-16 (NIV)

"You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house."

*Reflection:*

As followers of Christ, we are called to be the light of the world, reflecting the consecrated light of God's presence in our lives.

*Characteristics of the Consecrated Light:*

1. *Visible*: The consecrated light is visible to all, shining brightly for everyone to see.

2. *Illuminating*: The light illuminates the path, guiding others through the darkness.

3. *Reflecting God's presence*: The consecrated light reflects God's presence and character, demonstrating His love and compassion.

*Reflecting the Consecrated Light:*

1. *Live a visible faith*: As followers of Christ, we are called to live a visible faith, shining brightly for others to see.

2. *Share the light*: We are called to share the light of God's love and presence with others, guiding them through the darkness.

3. *Reflect God's character*: As we reflect the consecrated light, we demonstrate God's character and presence in our lives, showing His love and compassion to others.

*Prayer:*

Dear Heavenly Father,

Help me to reflect the consecrated light of Your presence in my life. Give me the courage to live a visible faith, sharing Your love and light with others. May my life demonstrate Your character and presence, guiding others through the darkness.

In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

*Action Step:*

Take a few moments to reflect on how you can reflect the consecrated light in your daily life. Ask God to give you opportunities to share His love and light with others, and to demonstrate His character and presence in your life.
