Serving in the house of God

*"Saved to Serve" Devotional*

*Scripture*

2 Timothy 1:9

"For God saved us and called us to live a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace."

*Reflection*

The purpose of salvation is not just to escape punishment or gain personal benefits, but to live a life of purpose and service to God and others. Through salvation, we are called to reflect God's love, compassion, and justice to a world in need. As we walk in the footsteps of Jesus, we are empowered to serve others, share the gospel, and bring hope to those around us. Our salvation is a gift, and in response, we are called to live a life of gratitude, humility, and service. May we live out our faith with purpose, passion, and compassion, bringing glory to God and blessing to others.

*Prayer*

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for saving me and calling me to live a holy life. Help me to understand and fulfill Your purpose for my life, and empower me to serve others with love, compassion, and humility. May my life be a reflection of Your grace and love. In Jesus' name, Amen.

*Application*

1. Reflect on how you can serve others in your daily life.

2. Consider ways to share the gospel with those around you.

3. Ask God to guide you in fulfilling His purpose for your life.

*Meditation*

How can you live out your faith with purpose and passion today?
