The Life of God

*"The Life of God" Devotional*

Scripture

Galatians 2:20 - "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."

Reflection

The life of God is a divine, eternal, and unchanging life. When we put our faith in Jesus Christ, we experience a transfer from spiritual death to eternal life. This life is characterized by God's love, joy, peace, and purpose.

Key Takeaways

- *Eternal life*: The life of God is eternal, and when we receive Christ, we receive this gift of eternal life.

- *Divine nature*: As believers, we are part of God's divine nature, and His life in us enables us to live a life that honors Him.

- *Transformed living*: The life of God in us transforms our thoughts, feelings, and actions, enabling us to live a life that reflects God's love and character.

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for giving me eternal life through Jesus Christ. Help me to live a life that honors You, reflecting Your love and character. May Your life in me bring joy, peace, and purpose to those around me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
