The power of association

*"The Power of Association"*

*Scripture:*

- Proverbs 27:17 (NIV) - "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another."

*Reflection:*

The people we surround ourselves with can significantly impact our lives and spiritual growth. Positive associations can:

- Encourage and uplift us

- Challenge us to grow and become better versions of ourselves

- Provide support and accountability

On the other hand, negative associations can:

- Drag us down and discourage us

- Lead us astray and tempt us to compromise our values

- Hold us back from reaching our full potential

*Application:*

1. Evaluate the relationships in your life and consider whether they are positive and uplifting.

2. Seek out people who encourage and challenge you to grow spiritually.

3. Be intentional about being a positive influence in the lives of others.

*Prayer:*

Dear Lord, help me to be mindful of the relationships in my life and to surround myself with people who will encourage and challenge me to grow closer to You. Give me wisdom and discernment to make choices that will positively impact my spiritual journey. Amen.

*Action Step:*

Take time to reflect on the relationships in your life and consider how they are impacting your spiritual growth. Make intentional choices to nurture positive relationships and seek out new connections that will help you grow closer to God.
