*Scripture:*
"Many claim to have unfailing love, but a faithful person who can find?" - Proverbs 20:6 (NIV)
*Devotional:*
Loyalty is a virtue that is often overlooked in today's fast-paced world. We live in a society where commitments are easily broken and relationships are often disposable. But as Christians, we are called to a higher standard.
In Proverbs 20:6, we are reminded that true loyalty is hard to find. Many people claim to be loyal, but when the going gets tough, they are nowhere to be found. But those who are truly faithful and loyal are a rare breed.
So what does it mean to be loyal? Loyalty is about commitment, dedication, and perseverance. It's about standing by someone or something even when it's hard or unpopular. It's about being faithful in the little things, even when no one is watching.
As Christians, we are called to be loyal to God and to one another. We are called to stand by our brothers and sisters in Christ, even when they are going through difficult times. We are called to be faithful in our commitments, whether it's to our families, our churches, or our communities.
*Reflection:*
- Who are the people in your life that you need to be loyal to?
- Are there any commitments or relationships in your life that you need to re-evaluate?
- How can you show loyalty to God and to others in your daily life?
*Prayer:*
Dear Heavenly Father, help us to be loyal and faithful in all our relationships. Give us the strength and perseverance to stand by those who need us, even when it's hard. And help us to be committed to You, above all else. In Jesus' name, Amen.
