Coheirs with Christ

*"Coheirs with Christ" Devotional*

*Scripture:* Romans 8:16-17

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

*Reflection:*

As believers, we are not only saved by Christ, but we are also heirs of God's promises. We are coheirs with Jesus, sharing in His inheritance and glory. This profound truth transforms our understanding of our identity and purpose. We are recognized as God's children, loved and cherished, and we will share in Christ's glory, experiencing eternal life and joy. As coheirs, we are called to suffer with Christ, but this suffering is not in vain, for it leads to glorification. May we live in the reality of our inheritance, walking in confidence and hope.

*Prayer:*

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for making me a coheir with Christ. Help me live in the reality of Your promises and love. May I walk in the confidence of my inheritance. In Jesus' name, Amen.

*Application:*

1. Reflect on your identity as a coheir.

2. Live in the confidence of God's promises.

3. Share Your faith with others.

*Meditation:*

What does being a coheir with Christ mean to you? How can you live out this truth daily?
