Let There be Peace

*Let There Be Peace*

*Scripture*:

_"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you."_ — John 14:27

_"You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you."_ — Isaiah 26:3

*Reflection*

The world’s peace depends on circumstances. God’s peace holds you together when circumstances fall apart.

Jesus didn’t promise a life with no storms. He promised His presence in the storm.

Peace isn’t the absence of noise. It’s the presence of God in the middle of it.

When anxiety rises, God isn’t far. He’s inviting you to trade your racing thoughts for His steady heart.

*Application*

1. *Guard your mind*: Notice what you’re feeding on today. News, worries, comparison. Replace one anxious thought with one truth: "God is with me."

2. *Practice stillness*: Take 3 deep breaths and whisper, "Jesus, You are here." Do it before the next meeting, drive, or hard conversation.

3. *Give peace away*: Peace multiplies. Speak calmly to someone stressed today. Your steadiness can be their anchor.

*Prayers*

Father,

I’m tired of carrying what isn’t mine to carry.

I receive Your peace right now — not later, not when things get better, but today.

Calm my heart. Quiet my mind.

Where there is fear, put faith. Where there is tension, put Your presence.

Help me to be a person who brings peace instead of panic.

Let Your peace guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Amen.
