_Eternal Sacrifice_
_Scripture:_ Hebrews 10:12-14, "But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God, and since that time he waits for his enemies to be made his footstool. For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy."
_Devotional:_
The concept of sacrifice is deeply rooted in the human experience. We sacrifice time, energy, and resources for the things that matter most to us. But there is one sacrifice that stands above all others, an eternal sacrifice that has changed the course of human history.
_The Eternal Sacrifice of Jesus:_
Jesus' sacrifice on the cross was not just a one-time event, but an eternal sacrifice that continues to have an impact on our lives today. His sacrifice:
1. *Paid the price for our sins*: Jesus' sacrifice satisfied the debt we owed to God, paying the price for our sins and reconciling us to Him.
2. *Provided eternal redemption*: Jesus' sacrifice provided eternal redemption, securing our salvation and guaranteeing our eternal destiny.
3. *Opened the way to God*: Jesus' sacrifice opened the way to God, providing access to the Father and enabling us to approach Him with confidence.
_The Power of the Eternal Sacrifice:_
The eternal sacrifice of Jesus has the power to:
1. *Transform our lives*: Jesus' sacrifice has the power to transform our lives, freeing us from the grip of sin and empowering us to live for Him.
2. *Give us hope*: Jesus' sacrifice gives us hope, reminding us that we are not alone and that God is always with us.
3. *Unite us with God*: Jesus' sacrifice unites us with God, enabling us to experience the depth of His love and the richness of His presence.
_Prayer:_
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for the eternal sacrifice of Jesus. Help me to understand the depth of His love and the power of His sacrifice. May I be transformed by the power of the cross, and may I live a life that honors You. I pray in Jesus' name, Amen.
_Reflection Questions:_
1. How has the eternal sacrifice of Jesus impacted your life?
2. What does the power of the cross mean to you?
3. How can you live a life that honors the sacrifice of Jesus?
_Memory Verse:_
