*Prioritizing Focus*
*Scripture:*
"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." - Matthew 6:33 (NIV)
"Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you." - Proverbs 4:25 (NIV)
*Reflection:*
You don’t drift into focus—you fight for it. Life will always hand you 100 good things to distract you from the _one_ God thing. Martha was busy serving, but Mary chose the better portion: sitting at Jesus’ feet. Both loved Jesus. Only one prioritized Him. Prioritizing focus means saying no to good things so you can say yes to God things. The enemy doesn’t need to make you sin; he just needs to keep you busy. What you focus on, you feed. What you feed, grows. What grows, rules your life.
*Prayer:*
Lord, quiet the noise around me. Teach me to seek You first. Reorder my priorities so my attention matches my affection for You. Amen.
*Application:*
- Start your day with God before your phone
- List your top 3 God-priorities for this week
- Eliminate one distraction that keeps stealing your focus
Focus isn’t found, it’s chosen. What’s one thing you need to cut or rearrange to put God first today?
